You pour the coffee. We power the cars.

Every charge is 30 minutes spent on your property. You provide three parking bays. We provide everything else and pay you 15% of every session.

A reason to stop. A reason to stay.

  • New customers.

Drivers pick their stops by where they can charge. Your site becomes the stop.

  • Longer visits.

Twenty to forty minutes per session, every session. That's a meal, not a coffee.

  • On the map.

Your site is listed in the SAEV app and pushed live to Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze and in-car navigation as a charging destination.

  • Zero cost.

We fund, build, own, insure and maintain the station. You don't touch a cable.

  • Your maximum demand does not move.

The station charges its battery slowly, off-peak, at a rate we agree with you. On a time-of-use tariff it adds nothing to your chargeable demand. It goes in the agreement.

Own the asset, or own none of the cost.

Same team. Same station. Same 15%. The only question is who owns the steel.

One statement. Four lines. No guesswork.

Each month, for a SAEV-owned station:

  1. 1

We read the grid meter, split by time-of-use period.

  2. 2

We reimburse you for every kWh at your own tariff for that period. Cost price.

  3. 3

We pay you 15% of gross session revenue.

  4. 4

If there's a carport, surplus solar exported into your building is credited at the agreed rate.

All four lines in the host portal, with a VAT invoice. If the electricity line doesn't match your Eskom bill, you'll know before we do.

Your station, live.

Station status and active sessions in real time. Energy drawn and solar exported, per kWh. Earnings session by session. Payouts on request or on a schedule. Statements and tax invoices as PDF.

Less grid. More sun. More margin.

Shade for your customers' cars. Solar straight into the battery. Surplus into your building, in the exact hours you'd otherwise be paying Eskom the most. Sized per site, offered only where the numbers work.

Not every site. The right sites.

Three contiguous bays in a sensible spot. Something worth staying 30 minutes for: food, coffee, retail, decent toilets. From 15 kW spare on your supply. A time-of-use tariff helps both of us, and if you're on a flat business rate we can often show you a cheaper option before we talk about anything else. Lit, visible, ideally open late.

If that's you, we'd like to hear from you. If you're not sure, apply anyway and we'll do the survey.
